My Favorite Non-Alcoholic Beverages
Share
When I stopped drinking, I realized it wasn’t just the alcohol I missed, it was the ritual of unwinding. The exhale at the end of a long day. So I started seeking out alcohol-free alternatives, beverages that still felt special, but didn’t pull me out of presence.
As a former white wine lover, I’ve tried a lot of non-alcoholic options over the past few years. Some were good, some were forgettable and a few earned permanent space in my fridge. Below, I’m sharing my go-to picks for different moments of the day.
For the Transition Time and Wind-Down
- Giesen Sauvingon Blanc
- The best non-alcoholic Sauvignon Blanc that tastes like real wine
- Giesen Rosé
- A Rosé that doesn't taste like grape juice
- Surely Sparkling Rosé
This has become part of my nighttime ritual. After I tidy up and dim the lights, I pour a glass, step outside and just breathe under the moon and stars.
For Social and Celebration
- Hella Bitters and Soda
- Recess Apoptogenic Mocktails
- Ghia NA Aperitifs
I reach for these during the times of connection, in social gatherings. They feel celebratory and special without the hangover. I serve them in a rocks glass and sometimes even garnish them like a normal cocktail.
For Nervous System Resets and Sleep
- Sleepy Time Tea in my favorite mug
- Tart Cherry + Magnesium Powder Mocktail
When I’m overstimulated or feeling ungrounded, these are my go-to. I sip them slowly, with presence and settle into my night.
Hot Tip
Your NA drink doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes just the act of pouring it into your favorite glass, adding a sprig of herbs or sitting down with intention is enough to shift your energy.
I’ll keep updating this list as I find new zero-proof favorites and I’d love to hear yours too.
