The 10-Minute Ritual That Helped Me Feel Like Myself Again

Recently experienced a period when I felt completely out of rhythm. I was waking up exhausted, sleeping more than usual and still needing an afternoon nap. I didn’t know how to quiet my mind or break these cycles and so I started by coming back to my body.

I couldn’t commit to a full meditation or yoga routine, but I believed in the power of small, repeatable rituals. And I couldn't find one simple enough for the soft re-entry I needed, so I created one. A gentle, 10-minute practice that didn’t require silence or perfection, just presence.

It didn’t fix everything. But over time, something shifted. I began to feel like myself again-softer and more anchored.

On the hardest mornings, I found myself whispering:

“Thank you for letting me feel and experience all of life’s emotions, even the challenging ones.”

This ritual helped me release old identities and return to my self-worth. Now, on the days when I still struggle, I tap into it.

If you’re craving a soft place to begin again, you can access the ritual here.

With strength + softness,

Jane
